It is now the 1 year anniversary of the launch of The Archived List of Regular Saver Ts&Cs Thread.

I hope you've all found it useful and I'd like to take the opportunity to thank those who have contributed to the thread, whether it be by sending me NLA regular saver Ts&Cs to me or simply alerting me of new regular savers.

Since the thread was launched it has seen the addition of 116 regular savers. I'm sure many more will be added in the months and years ahead.

Normally very quick. Yesterday I’ve checked 30 minutes after payment was made and it was already showing.

It's not about the final extra month, which would make pennies, it's getting the first deposit on the last day of the opening month, followed by another on the first day of the next month. This allows your  initial £300 to earn interest for 12 months.

If the account was not opened until the 1st of the month the extra £150 would be sitting in an easy access account earning around 5% at current rates, which would earn £7.50, so the difference for making a 13th payment for this one is very small.
