I was looking at the Progressive Reg Saver paying 7% at £300 a month.
Why is everyone leaning towards the Monmouthshire Reg Saver?I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -

Progressive basically no help to me, seems my enquiry went through twice, they marked it as resolved and basically told me to try again🙄😌, also said to make sure I fill out all 5 sections, I'm like I've done all that hence why I sent an enquiry0

is it mandatory to open current account to have Progressive Reg Saver? Vaguely remember that there was certified ID requirement that would cost a good amount of money.
Sorry missed reading about it all, unwell. I missed Monmouth Reg Saver too :-(
If anyone knows page no where relevant info is, it will be very helpful. Thanks0 -

I applied for this 22/8 & received signature letter today. I’ve added account to ‘My Accounts’ & sent initial £500 by FP this morning. I’ll post signature form tomorrow & set up SO from 1 Sept as soon as £500 appears.
My Exclusive 1 matures on Friday but I wasn't prepared to risk waiting.Honestly, I’m not normally this obsessive & I do really like MONBS & Principality, even if they are a tad old fashioned.If it helps, and you have digital access to the mons.com website (or app?), then you can send them a digital image of your signatory form via secure message. I asked and they said they would be happy to accept this.0 -
Re Monmouth maturity. My RS should mature today. It hasn't done yet. I've withdrawn £3300 today to fund my feeder account for next month, and I've received the money, but the account still thinks its a RS with £3600 in!0

They do seem to require ID of some description although you supposed to be able complete the form if you don't have photo ID, sadly I've not managed to yet
Progressive Building Society Online Regular Rainy Day Saver Account
ChewyyBacca specifically mentioned the potential cost involved if certified copies of ID are required. I can't remember what evidence I supplied when opening my account a couple of months back, but it certainly wasn't certified copies. I don't have an issue with submitting selfies, photos of passport, driving licence etc if necessary, and personally experienced no problems.0 -

Not having any decent experience with banks and building societies recently though.
Virgin Money was a struggle to get their Regular cuz online form doesn't let you do the address history, plus phone calls, I was compensated & got the account.
Applied for a Monmouthshire instant access, got told my address wasn't recognised or something, got told I'd have to complete address form & give ID, then got told no just need to complete the form.
Most recently can't complete Progressive 's online form & all Progressive say is try again and to make sure I complete all sections, erm I did your site said to contact you.0
