I'm not sure yet, what do you advise?, I guess £1 of it will used to fund/refund myself because I'm trying to set myself up a Monmouthshire easy access account so that leaves me with 30p🤣😂subjecttocontract said:Have you decided what you will spend your extra £1.30p on yet or will you 'reinvest' it ?I choose the rooms that I live in with care,

Various rates will be decreasing, of note is that there is no change to the interest rate on their Online Regular Rainy Day Saver at 7%, thus this account will be remaining at 7% for now.Is there a list of their changes, cant see it on the site? The double access cash ISA is still showing 5.05% which is the one i'd be interested in atm1 -
Yorkshire BS Loyalty Regular e Saver
I know. My Yorkshire BS Loyalty Regular eSaver 2023 also matures very soon I only mentioned it as an example of how the junior referred to in @Hattie627 's suggested explanation may quite easily have missed the 2023 scrawled on the back of the fag packet.0 -
Can I ask how you found this out as I can't see any info on the Progressive website.Bridlington1 said:Progressive BS Interest Rate Reductions From 2nd September:

Not that I've seen. I was one of those who opened the 7% RS before it became available to all UK residents so had to open a Branch Instant Access Saver first. I got a letter saying the branch instant saver was reducing from 3% to 2.75% on 2/9/24.Aidanmc said:Bridlington1 said:Progressive BS Interest Rate Reductions From 2nd September:

I gave Progressive BS a ring and they told me they were reducing many of their savings rates but checked and confirmed the 7% regular saver wasn't included in this so would remain at 7% for now. I never asked about any of the other accounts as I was just about to start eating my tea when I opened the letter and don't hold the 5.05% ISA so it wasn't at the forefront of my mind.2 -
You prioritised eating over checking regular savings accounts' interest rates?Bridlington1 said:

Lightweight.
In my defence I've a slight cold at the moment, which has decimated my voice somewhat, consequently I took the rare decision to keep my telephone interactions with the banks/building societies to a minimum till the cold's eased off a bit.
I have since sent them a message online asking them whether their other regular savers and the 5.05% ISA is going to be affected, but I doubt I'll hear back from them till after the bank holiday to be fair.

The 2023 version ends 21st September or something for me, I don't think there's any changes to that but there is to the newer version.HHUK said:
Maybe the junior didn't notice the 2023 suffix after 'Loyalty Regular eSaver' on the fag packet? (My Yorkshire Loyalty Regular eSaver 2023 is still paying 7% according to the app.)Hattie627 said:Yorkshire BS Loyalty Regular e Saver ... makes you wonder how such a mistake can be made. Did the junior person tasked with preparing the table misread the handwritten scrawl on the back of the fag packet passed down from the senior management?
Really looking forward to the pay out on the 2023 , 7% on £6000 🤤, such a good account @ £500 max a month.
Also my 8% Nationwide is ending a few days earlier, got a reminder email from them today about it, can get an extra £200 in for that at start of next month too.
I wonder what new monthly savers will be out around then 🤔😅0 -
Just a reminder the Hinckley & Rugby BS interest rate reductions come into effect today. This includes:
HRBS Regular Saver 30 Day Notice from 5.25% to 5%
HRBS Regular Saver 30 Day Notice Issue 2 from 5.1% to 4.85%

Monmouthshire BS 6%
I applied and today received my Online Signatory Form, which I obviously need to return. The letter says 'you will not be able to transact on your account until we are in receipt of this.'
Have been able to login and add the extra account which now shows as 'Pending'. Since I have the account details can I now make an August payment into it? Given the post/BHols, how will I know when they've received the form, if that does in fact prevent putting anything in as yet?
Can anyone advise please? Has anyone successfully made a payment in yet?
