“The account is available to existing Members and new customers resident in the UK, aged 18 or over.”
@Special_Saver2Anyone outside NI been able to register for the account yet.All I get is the followingWe are sorry an error has occurred. Please contact our Online Support Team on 0800 0294 997 for assistance or Submit an Enquiry and we’ll get back to you within 2 business days.Well I've tried a couple of different browsers and don't get beyond the first page of registration. After entering all of the details down to address there is nothing below and no way to advance to the next section.Edit: It looks like they're using Salesforce for everything, so any ad blocking or privacy settings will prevent some of the pages loading correctly. Using Chromium/Linux with default settings worked fine and I had no issues.I'm pleased to see they offer Google Authenticator if you first decline the Salesforce Authenticator app when prompted to install it.0 -
I used my android phone and Chrome for everything1

No need to use salesforce authenticator. Can't remember the steps as did it a while ago, but hidden away on that page you can get a code to add it to the apple keychain authenticatorIf you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.
N.B. I research before my posts, and I never intend to share anything that is misleading, misinforming, or out of date, but don't rely on everything you read. Some of the information changes quickly, is my own opinion or may be incorrect. Verify anything you read before acting on it to protect yourself because you are responsible for any action you consequently make... DYOR, YMMV etc.0 -

Progressive Building Society:
I was able to open and fund the account today from the UK.
I chose SMS for authentication from the drop down menu rather than the authenticator app when registering.Save £12k in 2022 #54 reporting for duty1 -
Progressive Building Society:Even though they accepted via my phone camera my ID, when going back to PC to carry on registration it said it had failed and they will ring me within 2 days (Or I could call them, so I called and the line doesn't even ring)0
