Nationwide Start To Save Account

I will be using the cash stored in the Start To Save, to fund their Regular Saver. Makes sense to me.0

I believe you can withdraw the money on or after 1 Jan (as long as you keep the account open until the draw takes place) and still qualify for the draw (because you have until the end of Jan to return the funds which is after the draw date).where_are_we said:Nationwide will be launching a new Start To Save product in the new year. Hopefully, this will offer better returns. You have to constantly review whether you can do better elsewhere. The old STS has a 24 month term and once the final draw has taken place then weigh up your options and move your money to a better place as there is no withdrawal penalty.

I believe the final prize draw was due to take place yesterday. Has anyone heard anything? I've not received an email from Nationwide yet.0

Haven’t heard anything either. Those who’ve won previously, was the prize credited the day of the draw?0

Prize winners will be informed within 30 days of final draw on 24/1/22. You have between 1/34 and 1/67 chance of winning (I wonder why there is a large variation?). Some lucky savers have won twice. My family of 5 have never won! The 1% variable rate with instant access (but no prize draw) means I will continue the £100 monthly payments until the 24 month term ends. It is in effect a 1% easy access account albeit with a limited deposit. I have all the better paying regular savers. NW have announced a new start to save product will be initiated in the new year

I just got an email to tell me I have won in the January draw 🎉
The prize has been paid into my account today and the interest rate is showing as 1.25% too 😃
Added to the £125 switching bonus I recently got from Nationwide I'm doing pretty well out of them at the moment.
🤞 for the premium bond draw tomorrow, hopefully it's my lucky month 😃5 -
If you win on the Premium bonds as well then you probably should get a Euromillions ticket for the £107m draw on Friday 😅CarolynCh said:I just got an email to tell me I have won in the January draw 🎉

I've received email to confirm that January 2022, this month's was the last prize draw for me and wife's Start2Save. Money will stay in the account at 1.25% unless something better shows up. Neither of us ever won, obvs😏0
