That's true, but it doesn't mature until 2 years is up.

I was late into this one - not until October 2020, so will leave it there at 1.25% until Oct 2022 but will cancel the standing order into it.

This account has now matured for those who took it out early, and has changed into a 0.5% AER account. It might be a good time to move the balance to an account which pays better interest.

My Start to Save ends in June. I presume I can just  transfer money out/close early and still get the interest.

I closed mine today using online banking.  Interest paid up to closure and funds transferred to current account instantly.
