Judge Rinder is rather interesting this afternoon ....

Nobody is insulting you, the facts have been laid out. It is these same facts that real court judges are dismissing cases. These judges understand POFA and one decision was challenged and that was lost as well. Rinder missed the opportunity to challenge the price of each ticket with add-ons which county court judges call abuse of process. Who is right, real court judges or an amusing programme on TV ?
You are right, we disagree and there we will leave it1 -
Anyone who has attended a claim in a SCC will realise that this programme is pure theatre. The robes, the raised dias, the flag, the ill tempered outbursts of the camp actor, so, the appreciative audience, it is totall divorced from reality. So why do we expect the conclusions to be valid.
I do not expect Dubliners to all be like Mrs Brown or old lags to be as lovable as thos in porridge. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2 -

I just watched this, having seen an IPC Tweet boasting about it. Twice in the show, Rinder talked about Dale's company (who cares which firm) making an 'application' to the show.
So what appears to have been done, is the PPC or their 'advisors' have had the bright idea of persuading a weak victim to be their patsy, (apparently/allegedly) promising her that either ITV will pay her 'fines' - because that's how the show works - or they'll cancel them if they lose (gambling on Judge Rinder being all gloss and no facts or proper application of consumer or contract law - and they gambled right). As expected, Judge Rinder didn't even question the false £60 and didn't consider s71(2) of the CRA 2015 and look at the signs properly (= woeful white on black with tiny print and nothing about £60 added) nor did he even think about Beavis paras 98,193 and 198 or the POFA 4(5).
The IPC gets sicker every year and this is just another example.
Spectacularly dreadful propaganda, they are in good company:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Show_trial
A show trial is a public trial in which the judicial authorities have already determined the guilt, and/or innocence, of the defendant. The actual trial has as its only goal the presentation of both the accusation and the verdict to the public so they will serve as both an impressive example and a warning to other would-be dissidents or transgressors.[1] Show trials tend to be retributive rather than corrective and they are also conducted for propagandistic purposes.[2] The term was first recorded in 1928.PRIVATE 'PCN'? £3000-ish demanded for 21 tickets !!! (35 tickets total issued for parking at work!)
Defendant obviously never heard of this forum!
Going into that place was terrifying, I've probably never felt more alone, scared and humiliated then I did that day. I tried my best with what I had, which was absolutely nothing. I wish I had known to turn to this forum before I went in there!
Also for those wondering, the PPC didn't apply to judge rinder. I had posted on a facebook group for advice on how to get these guys off my back and judge rinder approached me. They told me how they would pay the fines if I lost and that I wouldn't have to worry about paying it if I lost in a real court, or ending up with a CCJ. So i went for it. Dale was the claimant due to the nature of the case. The PPC jumped at the chance. There was obviously a lot edited out, but this case went on for near enough 2 hours. Judge Rinder had to leave the room once or twice and even came back out with his laptop to research some terms he hadn't heard of. I don't remember what the terms were. I watched the episode on the day it came out, but have been unable to watch it since. I constantly think about what I could've done in hindsight, but it's too late for that now anyway. Either way, ITV paid the fines and I was given a permit by the following Monday, so they're now off my back and I can try and move on from an extremely distressing time in my life. Thank you all for your kind and respectful (and educating) comments! I hope you can all help someone else from making the awful defence that I did!9 -
Which PPC was it please?
Next time come to us. You were used.
I'd quite like to suggest you ask for an 'appeal' to be heard (for the purposes of righting a wrong on the show) with one of us as your lay rep...if Judge Rinder would allow our Rights of Audience, so to speak, it not being a real trial or real appeal.
I thought that at the time - the show could use their discretion and show a challenge to a previous decision made, and how that works!
We would love to take him to the right parts of the case law of Beavis and the CRA. Very odd that Judge Rinder was unaware of the court's duty to look at the CRA test of fairness about the contract.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hopefully there will not be a next time! Before this id never had a fine in my life for anything, I never litter, I always pay for parking and I don't speed! I was an emotional wreck during this time!2 -
Send me a pm, of course you can say who runs the parking at that car park but by private message if you prefer. Are you up for asking for an 'appeal' to be filmed, to inform people about the CRA 2015 and what happens when a Judge errs in law?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I thought you presented yourself very well and as a real court knows all about these scammers, you probably would have won. The joke of it all is that ITV paid a scammer. ITV should listen to Martin Lewis who explains how to avoid scams
You actually won though because ITV picked up the scam tab4 -
As a matter of interest, did you pay the mock PPC anything? I detest this simpering ill tempered clown, I understand he likes dressing up.
