this is a copy of the pre enforcement letter recieved from jbw regarding a parking ticket. For someone who lived at my address before i moved there.

Dvla know where every car is and if its taxed+insured, and can issue an instant fine if a vehicle is neither taxed, scrapped or declared SORN

The Home officce have no idea where 2,000,000 asylum seekers and illegal immigrants are, yet almost every one has walked into the island we live on

lets put Dvla in charge of iimigration.

That is a valid point. we are able to track cars from the minute they come on the road and then off againand we cannot track the illegal immigrants. Should the bailiffs not be looking for them instead ?

Following the recent scandals, where 'illegal' immigrants have been found 'working' as security guards in very 'sensitive' Government departments, perhaps we should be asking 'how many of these 'illegals' are now working as 'bailiffs'?

R U serious in believing the Dvla know where every untaxed car etc, is of course they dont, they only know the "Honest" majority who register their vehicles correctly, their are Thousands of vehicles out there who arnt, thats why cameras only penalise the honest majority who abide by the rules in the first place.
I have to laugh when watching the TV prog where the commentator says "Your number plate is like a giant Fingerprint-" codswallop!

I would have thought that the bailiff firm in question should be hired as a public duty exercise and should be shown catching those illegals and so on. Now i wander if anybody in the government is a illegal immigrant/failed asylum seeker ?

If you know your way around the law then even though you are not the registered keeper you can still show it as being so etc. As for warrants. If a warrant is on your vehicle dont register it in your name the first time and bobs your uncle.
