Good morning friends remember me   

Short post today but just wanted to pop by to the new home and give you a quick update. 

Mid January life dealt me a pretty harsh blow and I had a stroke. Have spent a monthish in hospital and finally escaped home this week. I lost the use of my right side so its a long rehab journey now. Hospital had zero wifi so posting was not possible so its good to be home to all my bells and whistles

In other news tonight is sausage casserole and mash....thank goodness for a stacked freezer. Constant visits from the rehab team mean I have to do a daily Friday tidy bar very slowly and keep on top of washing due to the vast number of pjs 
TA hope sparkles is ok Jackie please come home I will miss your posts. Take care all xx

Morning. It’s cold here. Boiler did not come on again but did work in the afternoon and evening yesterday.  I am working today but just this morning then I will get some washing done and tidy up.  Diet Coke chicken for tea tonight I made it last night it’s in the fridge I think we will have it with cous cous

Morning not looking forward to going to work heavy snow will be walking tiny steps terrified of falling so pleased sparkle was ok take care nelski do everything in your own time don’t worry about anybody calling do your tidying when and if you can you will get there in the end stay safe everyone

Such shocking news NELSKI - I’m sure that being in your own home helps even though it may all be challenging right now. Take all the help you can get. Seems trite to say ‘take care’ but do take care.

Morning all

I was woken about 4 this morning with the loudest hail stones ever it woke the whole house, it sounded like someone throwing large stones at the windows !
Raining all day here so it will be a day of pottering at home, I have a wash on the go which will have to be put in the TD today. Dinner tonight will be pizza and salad with garlic bread so a nice easy meal. I am goint to hoover through and mop the floors downstairs today as well.
Glad Sparkle got on ok yesterday x

Sad to see Jackie o has left, I dont like the new layout either but Im sure we will get used to it.

Oh my goodness Nelski, what a shock for you, pleased to hear you are back home, guess you will be having physio.

The rain woke me, I think I finally dropped off about 5.30. OH woke me at 8am, its shopping day, so want to get off once I am sure the children are all in school, they swarm over the road like a swam of bees, do not look to see if anything is coming, one of these days someone is not going to be able to stop and that will be that.
Frittata and salad for supper tonight.

Morning all another woken up by the rain at 2am Dolly walked and fed DW on not too much to do today will do another deep clean of 1 of the walls in the bathroom  . I am looking at flights for November to Hong Kong and home from Singapore  I did say to OH i would go economy but i need to come back business with a bed as i get a bit stressed and take sleeping meds to get me through so i started looking yesterday surprisingly enough its only £85 each dearer to do business both ways so i think we will do that 
Dumpling hope the visits go well
Gers hope the hip is ok
Nels oh my what a shock for you but i am glad you are home and on the road to recovery
Ruby hope you and your daughter are doing ok x
Right ham egg n chips for tea another one eating from the freezers but getting no where fast i think like the ironing pile someone is refilling it
