Best wait for the card to arrive and deposit a few £££sI want to switch to this but I don't really want to close my other Halifax account, does anyone know if I can open a normal current account with another bank then switch that immediately to Natwest? I've read reports of others doing similar but just wanted to see if anyone has done it for this purpose.Thanks"1

Just opened an account but having trouble uploading photo ID. The selfie was easy, but I cannot upload a photo of my driving licence. Anyone got any tips?
i took it on my iPad, which I used to complete the application form.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

The terms state I need to deposit £1,500 to recieve the bonus. If the balance transfered from my old account is £1500 or higher, is this classed as satistying this or do I need to actually pay in £1500?0

Will you still get the switching bonus if you pay in £1500, and then transfer that straight away to another account. Or do you have to leave the £1500 in the account. Thanks!0

There's no requirement for the money to stay in the account for any length of time - you can pay straight in/out. I'm not sure if any money transferred by a CASS switch will count however, so I'd probably pay in/out anyway just in case.
As for ID issues - if you're having trouble you could try uploading an alternate piece of documentation? Otherwise when I had this issue a quick branch visit sorted me out.0 -

for both Natwest and RBS if possible, I think RBS is roughly 2 weeks later than Natwest.
