I was feeling very organised this week. Budgets were all in place, credit card paid, MOT booked and budgeted for and then the dog hurt herself and needed the vet!
Paid the bill today and it was only £55 and it came out of the dog savings pot, but that's totally wiped it out. If she's not better by the end of the week she has to go back next week for x-rays.
Will have to juggle some money around from other pots of she does need to go back. It feels like a constant uphill struggle to get money saved!Debt Feb 20: £13,212.12

I think you have made great progress in just six months and the very fact you have a pets saving pot to pay the bill is a bonus. In the early days the pots are small but carry on saving in them and eventually they will get to a decent level. Pets and cars are usually the things which ruin budgets. By next February hopefully 50% of the debt will be gone.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. I'm nervous about the car service/MOT as the whole of my car pot is going towards getting them done, with no extra towards repairs so fingers crossed it passes.
It's so easy to get disheartened when you use up a pot and feel like you've gone backwards, but I suppose that's what the pots are there for!Debt Feb 20: £13,212.12

You're making some good progress on your debt, under £10k now, well done! I hope the doggie is ok and doesn't need any more treatment, good job you had the "vet" pot to cover the initial costs.
Good luck with the rest of your debt busting. (although doesnt look like you need it 😊)What’s meant for you will not pass you 😃

Just as I was feeling more positive- flat tyre today 🙈
RAC we’re super efficient though and were with my within 20mins! I can use the spare tyre for 300miles so at least buying a new tyre can wait until next payday.Debt Feb 20: £13,212.12

I'm in that 2 week wait for payday where it feels like a long way away, with nothing changing on the debt-busting front.
I'm bored today and can feel myself wanting to browse for horsey things online so I thought I would come and post on here instead!
While I can't update on debt paying, I can update on my savings:
Car Pot: £192.65 - Will disappear after MOT, new tyre & service next month
Horse Pot: £249.41
Vet Bills: £1.30 (Cleared out after dog vet bill last week!)
Other Savings: £132.63
Credit Card Pot: £97.33 (I pay this onto the CC once it hits 1% of the total debt).Debt Feb 20: £13,212.12

Payday still feels like a long way away, as does being rid of this debt!
Having a down day wondering what the point is, as I still have 18 months of scrimping and saving but I'll keep on plodding.
A few Plum roundups so new savings figures below:
Car Pot: £196.38
Horse Pot: £258.74
Vet Bills: £3.17- Dog has to go back for xrays which is a bit of a pain.
Other Savings: £136.35
Credit Card Pot: £115.99- Hanging onto this for dog bills after the vet bills pot has already been used.

@horseeatsallmymoney wow! You are making excellent progress. I think the most important thing is you're budgeting so that you don't accumulate any more debt. That's what will keep you debt free in the future. Roll on December 2021.1

Finally it was payday over the weekend!
My CC statement isn't generated until the 4th, so no debt-busting updates, but I have been adding to my savings/emergency pots.
A few Plum roundups so new savings figures below:
