Explicitly state this is the FIRST appeal and you note their website was incorrectly stating an appeal had already been entered.2

Just an update.
So the Coffee establishment were a waste of space and completely stonewalled me for any kind of assistance, saying it was out of their hands... So I've since received a few more letters from the PPC over the last few months (always addressed to my short name and a typo'd address 1st line, should it ever matter), the latest one being the typical scare tactics !!!!!! I've heard so much about reading all the info on the forum.
The latest one is 'big scary red writing' at the top "Notice of intention to instruct solicitors to issue summons".
Might get to do my first dance in court with one of these !!!!!! firms yet then perhaps...0 -
The "red letter gang" and their dodgy solicitors ???? If it goes that far, the scamming legal will add on a fake £60 and then the ball is in your courtTonofun said:Just an update.

Is it worth the OP raising a Data Correction Notice with the PPC? If the name and address is wrong then OP certainly doesn't want any court claim going astray.3

Complain to the IPC that you have been unable to appeal the PCN, and that the name and address they have used is incorrect, and show them the screengrab.
I hope you haven't posted the real PCN number in your post from earlier where you first mention this problem here.
I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Sorry Fruit, maybe I wasn't clear. I did eventually get to 'appeal' but it was just via e-mail instead in the end because their web system couldn't cope with a 'second' appeal on the same PCN ref, and it was just bounced like every appeal is. I provided them with my (short) name (just a habit) and correct address and the one and only PCN ref number related to the alleged charge.Fruitcake said:Complain to the IPC that you have been unable to appeal the PCN, and that the name and address they have used is incorrect, and show them the screengrab.

So if another one turns up with more 'fines' added, it's just more ammunition to get it thrown out, right?beamerguy said:The "red letter gang" and their dodgy solicitors ???? If it goes that far, the scamming legal will add on a fake £60 and then the ball is in your court1 -
It's not more, and it might not get thrown out, but it doesn't help them.3
