It takes months with no covid pandemic , I doubt that any court cases will be allocated until August or September at the earliest given the current situation

You have confirmed that your DQ is filed?
If so, you could call and ask if the case has been allocated to the local court you specified yet.

    Pretty straightforward reading.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I've recently seen a Claimant given a 'reminder' by a local court to send in a defence to a counter-claim, AFTER the Defendant had already applied for default judgment using the right form, that we know was received.

Then in the same case, when the C sent in a 'defence to counterclaim' that failed to deal with ANY of it (and I mean ANY of the matters in the counterclaim, at all) and the Defendant has pointed that out in writing and by phoning the local court too...we so far have silence from the court.  We'll get there in the end but it shows the difference in a system that calls the Claimant 'the innocent party'.
