Brilliant cake sexymouseKeeps raining hard for a few minutes and then brilliant sunshine, so the washing is draped round indoors today. We've been for a run to the garden centre for our free coffees just to get out for an hour. We haven't been far since Christmas.7

Good afternoon
Paid stuff done for the day, although I am now waiting on someone who is talking me through a report I need to do for little one. So that is work stuff, but not paid!
I didn't sleep well. I have had a sore throat for the last few nights (ok during the day, unless I sneeze!), and then my mind decided that was the right time to remind me of all the things that I haven't done! Thanks for that!! It would appear that there is not a single area of my life where I am on top of things!!
DW on, 1 load of washing in the TD needs to be folded. I have hoovered the LR and printed off a couple of things that needed printing.
Ok - I'm going to put the kettle on in the hope that she turns up soon so I can finish for the day!

Hello,
Brilliant cake, sexymouse.
I can’t remember what I did yesterday beyond having lunch out, so I am guessing that it was a flying flop.
Today has been a better effort, and I even managed to fit in paid stuff! Flying has been: empty dw, change, wash and hang up DD’s bedding, fling dinner into sc (a bean dahl recipe that I have ripped out from somewhere, so we will see how that goes down with the troops), descale the coffee machine (yep, the one that I don’t use apart from to make coffee for the others), and HHI (fitted in just now, as it was still light and I felt that i ought to make an effort). I think that’s it. I’m going to WULTD now, then I might even sort a couple of bits of paperwork out. Or not.8 -

Evening all x
Paid stuff done, came home and I have..
Put the WM on
Put ham ribs on for soup
Cleared the coffee table
Hoovered the LR floor
Topped the gas up
Not bad considering I only finished work an hour ago.
Just having a wee cuppa then I'll do the veg for the soup and tidy the scullery while I'm in there.

beds stripped and remade; DS's room vacuumed and mine, too, and the landing.
Finally got round to taking car to locksmith to get a new key, which is fully functioning though not a remote key, cut and connected.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all
Paid stuff for me today, last day this week for the bathroom fitter, I am hoping all the decisions are now made and next week he will just press on with minimal input from me... I will still make drinks of course! I’ve found this week tiring with having to stop work to check things, the noise, the dust, the house being cold because doors needing to be open etc. Well I sound like a right moaning Minnie! I am grateful it’s being done and I know I could be dealing with far worse so I apologise for the vent!!On to flying, it will be basic dailies and a load of washing only again today I think, catch up day tomorrow!Hugs to all in need, I’m going to get myself ready for the day and hope I can find a more positive frame of mind at the same time!Bye for now xx7 -
Sorry i keep disappearing, j have had a quick read of Fred, but will catcb properly later xxx i am flying everyday, but i think "oh i will just stick WM on, then crack out laptop to catch up with Fred".. Then something happens and before I know it's school run time and not worth firing it up......I miss the old Skint Pit computer room/bedroom 5 (but not the life i had to endure to live in a gilded cage). I have had a fatality yesterday.....my beloved soup maker is no more! DD1 decided to make smooth bacon and chickpea soup.....but put a slab of FROZEN bacon in with the ingredients. It can get away with a handful of frozen peas in the mix, and defrosted meat needs to be in smallish chunks to make sure its cooked through on either 21 on 28 minute programme But now as the motor for the blades has burnt out, it won't stir the ingredients while cooking so they are catching/burning on the bottom of SM. So that will have to be taken recycling centre. The soup did get finished of in big pan but unblended. I added garlic, ginger, chilli, mixed herbs and egg noodles and turned it into an abomination of Ramen style broth soup instead.....it was very filling and tasty. So today, I need to make trip to recycling centre count , so going through the house later for anything else that really needs to go on its way too......chocolate and flowers day today, so best to keep my mind and hands busy. I will do a strike through on listy later as flying will be limited this weekend. Hugs sticks and spoons to everyone in needThe cold never bothered me anyway9

Good morning all,
Just quickly popping in to say hello. Morning dailies done, including a double pile of ironing. Off to get ready for work and scrape the ice from the car.
Have a lovely day all, especially if the forced notion of hearts and flowers day is upsetting for you. It’s a marketeers dream, methinks. Bah humbug.
Hugs, sticks and spoons to all who need any or all of them.
