Good morning
I have (more) paperwork from yesterday's meeting. I will try and look at it later. WI last night - a chocolate demo and chocolate tasting. I didn't buy any - it was super expensive! The signing in sheet stated I had paid my subs - I had no recollection of this, and it was on my to do list!! Checked my account this morning, and apparently I paid on 10/1!! Who knew I was so efficient!?!One less thing to pay for! I have entered the Brighton 10K this morning (last day for entries - I work to a deadline!). This will be my first ever 10K, and I am doing it on my own (DH will be running the marathon), so wish me luck!!
Paid stuff today - the boys are playing nicely at the moment. We might make some brownies, and will do some painting this afternoon. So far today I have had breakfast, checked bank accounts & done the weekly invoices. DH is off, so he has walked the dog. He is at training at the mo with his running club. The young lady that went missing in NZ was a member, and they have now found her body, so I imagine the mood will be sombre
I need a cuppa! Have a good day everyone

Well, today was going to be the day when I cleaned all through the house and went out for lunch with a friend. "Was ...."
All was going well until about 9.00 am, when I sensed the first signs of a migraine. At 10.00 (by which time I had already stripped both beds) it was raging. I gave up on almost everything, took some tablets and curled up on the sofa for 4 hours. The codeine content of the migraine meds always leaves me feeling dreadful afterwards, but I somehow managed to take Rosie out for about 40 minutes in the afternoon, and a good meal this evening plus more snacks after DH had gone out seems to have cleared the grotty feeling.
Between naps I did manage to do 5 loads of washing, 2.5 of which were bedding, but I had to use the TD rather than hanging it outside. And this evening I ironed the pillowcases and one of DH's shirts whilst catching up with Best Home Cook, so the day was not totally lost. Just summoning up enough strength now to make up the beds again with the clean linen.8 -
Well, I have a pain my chest.. possibly stress related because I REALLY do not want to go to the outlaws on Sunday.. so I've done almost nothing.
1 load of drying, 1 load of washing, salad shopping (I spied some reduced lettuces in Sains. Had my nails done and I don't like them.. thinking of painting over them. Can't find anything decent to watch on the goggler..
and I am still bored!

Morning all
Blustery day already here, today will definitely be catch up time as flying has really not happened this week . We have to pop out and run some errands this morning and do the food shop. That should take a couple of hours then as soon as we get back it’s whole house cleaning time.
I am feeling more positive today, moaning Minnie seems to have left... going to get on and tackle my list!Hugs to all, stay safe in the wind and rain. Back later with progress report x8 -
Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
Ionafan, I feel your pain. My migraine was Tuesday and I'm still a little fragile today having battled on all week. Just the dailies kept on top of here.
The dogs are away for the weekend and I have no plans so going to just potter.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Morning (wavey smiley)
That's another 4 days paid stuff done - had a bit of a blip on Tuesday (radio again) but got it sorted. Flying wise I kept the recycling rolling out of the house and had the airer cleared by last night - so that won't be my first job to do today (clappy hands). I've made my bed and brought down the laundry hamper so
Round 1 =
sort washing in to loads
set 1st load swishing
get washed and dressed
feed the birds
put out yesterday's recycling

breakfast.
Batten down the hatches again, Take care

Morning all,
Had a mega wobble last night, feeling totally lonely, lost and overwhelmed. Better today thankfully. Me and the kids are going to walk the dog shortly, then it's swimming lessons and home to batten down the hatches once more. We have a craving for sausage and mash, I had bought frozen sausages but DD doesn't like them, so will pick up some others whilst we are out this morning. I am still ready struggling with the forum and sad to see JackieO has left MSE because of it, I loved the 'vintage' lay out from many moons ago.12 items on eBay as well which I am pleased about. Have super days all xx10
