DQ is email or post to the CCBC , the paper option is always available , but we do not know if anyone is checking the post or not

Same applies to the claimant , these are uncertain times yet you require certainty , which you cannot get

KeithP posted earlier about submitting defence and DQ together and suggests separate e-mails so that one does not get lost in the system if it is not recognised as being different attachment.  If you submit your defence via MCOL, you are limited to what you can fit in the box.  You could post the DQ but why would you if e-mail is still functioning?

I was only asking about alternative ways to submit the DQ in the event that the CCBC inbox is full and I receive an undelivered notification (as you suggested could be possible in your earlier post).

I will try to email my defence and DQ to CBCC in separate emails, and also email my DQ to the claimant and will hopefully receive a delivered receipt for all. Otherwise I'll have to investigate alternative ways to submit.

Belt and braces approach is being suggested by some, i.e. email PLUS post.

as above , adopt a belt AND braces approach to this topic

but it seems they are reopening tomorrow so should catch up on any backlog plus accept new emails anyway , especially as 4pm on april 6 is your deadline , so another week

Just as an update, I have emailed my Defence to the CCBC email address this afternoon and received a confirmation email as a receipt.

I have also emailed my DQ in a separate email to CCBC and cc'ed the claimant using the only email address shown on their website (for the data protection officer) and explained this in my email along with advising that I am unable to post a hard copy due to following the UK Government guidance for the COVID-19 restrictions. I have also received a receipt email for this, so looks like both documents have now been received by CCBC.

Thanks again for everyone's guidance and advice, I'll wait and see what correspondence is returned to me.

Should be a letter from your local court , eventually , probably several months given covid19

Disregard and file any interim letters like from the claimant trying to get you to pay
