Yes Foxgloves I think we are very far apart on political opinions.  Still friends virtual or otherwise don't always have to have the same opinion - It wouldn't do to be all the same would it x

Seems like everyone is finding the grocery shopping is creeping erm shooting up!  All we can do is try to keep plodding on and getting ours to a level that suits us and our budgets.
Not much has been going on in the M_F household money saving or otherwise.  A shop brought curry (I know I know) is defrosting to be consumed this evening and we are starting with the alcoholic aperitifs.
I shall be back when we have something to report on. until then diary readers stay safe, stay budgeting xxx.

Wow life moves fast even in lockdown.  Not so sure I'm looking forward to the easing of restrictions entirely.  Even with queues food shopping is much more peaceful and civilised at the moment.  You can keep clothes shops as I've never been a browser.  I shop when I need something which isn't that often.  Hairdresser I am looking forward to and my first facial will be like heaven after all this time.  I am however painfully aware that these are very much minor issues to some but I consider my hairdresser and beautician as friends and the lack of income has got to have hurt!

I was very brave & asked Mr F to trim my hair. I always do my own colour since my financial reformation, so that's been fine. I'm not rushing to do anything 'extra' yet, but I'm looking forward to inviting our best friends over for a BBQ & the re-starting of our local monthly artisan food & craft market this weekend.

Mr M_F has trimmed my hair in the past.  I'm doing his currently but we will go back to the hairdressers as its less mess and we don't go that often.  I always used to dye my own hair but when we moved here we didn't want the inevitable stains that seem to magically appear even when you are really careful.  I've done it once during lockdown but chose a lighter colour than usual and waited until the grey was really looking bad.

I’m desperate to get my hair cut now, I look like a cross between Rapunzel and Crystal Tips 🤣 Basically a mop. My eyebrows have faded away and in dire need of a wax and tint 😩
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

I'm sure Its not that bad @Sun_Addict   I dyed my eyebrows when I did my hair -DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!  I've done it for years but my hairdresser despairs with me.  I've managed to keep slightly less caterpillar above the eyes like using tweezers.  I'm a wimp and have to build up to using them and won't say I've done a perfect job but without my beautician its most definitely needed!

Nothing Nada diddly squat to report again but at least I've checked in.
Oh wait payday is I suppose worth reporting.  All budget done on YNAB nothing left as spent way too much last month (and the one before and before that etc etc).  I am determined this will be the month we crack this sticking to budget malarkey.  I have definitely done more of a "this is what we spend" than an inspirational budget so hopefully that will be the answer.  I have allowed a much bigger budget for groceries seeing how we always overspend and can work down from there.
