New Forum layout problems / bugs / How Do I?

I'm still having problems with threads I've commented on, not being in my 'bookmarked' flag, so I can't see how I can unsubscribe from that particular thread.  Does anyone know how to get over this one? 

Is it that I have to turn off (in notifications) Notify me when people comment on discussions I've participated in, email option?

Hopefully I might have solved my own problem   

But I agree with others, the sooner the option to skip/enter from the front page (without having to open the post) would save us so much time

My main one  is not being able to hover and thats in important issues not yet mentioned!!!!   Oh dear

A 'hide' function would be good as well.

yes turn off or on in notifications email option there as well (not that it works for me!) still not getting e mails from bookmarked threads, have even logged out and back in apart from standing on my head nothing works!

• Ability to mark competitions as skipped/entered from List view (Not mentioned is the ability to do both for the same thread and to "unskip" and "unenter". Also not mentioned is extension of The Skipped/Entered facility to the Post/Phone/Text sub-forum and the Game Over sub-forum)

Also not mentioned is comps displaying as entered/skipped in the list view in your profile.

Copy and paste of @Pud1234 's great idea for keeping track of where you're up to, entering comps..
I’ve got to say, I HATED the change to start with but I’ve carried on and found a different way to do things and I’ve found it’s actually made things easier for me, quicker actually! Like the above poster the only thing I’d like to see is a quick way to skip. 

My method is to go to the first page, I bookmark all the comps I want to enter. For the first page only I go into the ones I don’t want to enter and mark as skipped. Then work through the pages bookmarking everything I like the look of. Then because of my previous skipping, I eventually get to a page and I see lots of 0 commented comps with skipped against them then I know I’ve caught up. This only takes a couple of mins. Then I go into my bookmarked comps and start entering them, marking them as entered and un-bookmark as I go along. Honestly, it’s so quick and easy! Hope this helps someone!

Just came across the post by MSE_Tine stating that the 'thanks' button will not be re-instated on the non-moneysaving sections of the Forum.

The reasoning behind not having a "thanks" option is a nonsense but "thanks" on the new forum is of no more use than the "comp-liment" button as it works in the same way and doesn't show if you have used it or not by just looking at it.
