You should be contacting these people to complain:
https://www.ofcom.org.uk/complain-to-ofcom
What did you expect in the way of help here?
And if you do complain to Ofcom, aside from good luck with that, you will not have an "Indian" voice on the line, but clear English. How did you know she was Indian anyway? Was it a video call?
I asked and she confirmed it0 -
Engineers don't normally disappear.
Customer doesn't normally go to telephone exchange, surprised you would even know where that was.
All very strange.
Engineers don't normally disappear - This one did and would'nt as answer mobile phone
surprised you would even know where that was - I do because it is in my village0 -

No of course I did'nt gain entrance - I knew they were not there as there van was not there and not working on the cabinets outside0 -
I have not "half-a-story standards when writing posts." I have stated everything
The engineer could not of done anything to fix it at the exchange as I now have no service previously the broadband was'nt that bad - just noise on the line
Come off it sunshine, you made no mention in the original post that your other half was at home while you nipped off to the exchange, you only mentioned that in the follow-up post.
The original post implies quite clearly that you jumped in the car, went to the exchange leaving the house empty and it would have been plausible the engineer had come but couldn't gain access because you'd gone after her in the car and that could have been why they never came back.
But no, when I mentioned it out comes an excuse as to why my theory couldn't have happened. Why am I not surprised?
I would not be in the least surprised if the complaint has been closed because nobody in complaints can believe that one of their engineers would simply vanish into thin air in the circumstances described. Either that or the engineer has written up a report that says there's nothing wrong with the line and there is nothing more BT can do.0 -

But they did vanish, not answering their phone and according to the help desk on the phone they had not filled a report.
I am phoning tomorrow to find out why the complaint was closed0
