they can mole under the house otherwise terraced house would have no way of getting back to the back of the house
also check out www.watersafe.org.uk that have a seach engine that allows you to plug in your address and will show you approved contractors in your area. would always advise getting 3 quotes.
also bristol water used to do a free lead or iron replacement pipe so if you replace yours they will replace their pipe and stop tap in the road at the same time so all new pipework.0 -
There's no need to dig down to remove all the old supply pipe: they simply lay a new one by the easiest route and reconnect to that. A bit like building a bypass...
If you get a burst supply pipe within the property then the bills could be a lot higher for the ensuing damage, so be glad they found it.No free lunch, and no free laptop
