    Not according to the OED. Your first few posts on this thread made it sound as if you would have to cold wash everything and that is simply not the case, there is hot water readily available every single day.

    Getting your lycra in a twist mate? Its a 'technicality' in word and description that is disconnected and removed result in the same issue of there being no facility of the machine to heat water independently of the boiler. I'm not here to dispute definitions of words if I was then I would ask on another forum where people have a credible education. Good grief you are petty.

    Obsidianfox, I read your original post in exactly the same way as Lover of Lycra did.
    You're obviously very unhappy in your current accommodation- is it not time to draw a line under it and move on? I can understand that it is easier said than done especially if you're on a tight budget but could you not perhaps look for a room in a shared house?
