Washing Machine

I feel there may have been crossed wires. Cold fill washing machines are normal. Removing the heating elements seems an awful lot for a landlord to put themselves through.0
-
Yup confirmed today the washing machine is connected to hot & cold and told it will only have hot water when the hot water is on.0
-
So they haven't disconnected the heating element at all then.
Get up at 7am and be the first in the queue? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
So not an issue as you all know what time the water is heated from.1

@elsien the washing machine has no heating element hot washes can only be done when the boiler is on.0
-
That's somewhat different from claiming the heating element had been removed. You have hours of hot water availability every day to get your washing done. Alternatively you could use a laundrette instead. The world is your oyster.obsidianfox said:@elsien the washing machine has no heating element hot washes can only be done when the boiler is on.2 -
Why not just move?An answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0

@Lover_of_Lycra disconnected / removed same thing in meaning that it has no ability to heat water independent of hot water feed.

Then why not just wash your clothes in a launderette somewhere else?obsidianfox said:

You say "easier said than done", but unless there's some external factor you haven't mentioned which actively prevents you from moving, then it really is your choice. And, yes, of course there's a range of factors that you need to take into account over that decision.1
