You still haven't told us if the NTK arrived within the PoFA timescales.

It is odd that Parking Lie are making such a fuss about identifying the driver. Normally if the NTK is PoFA compliant then they don't bother (don't need to bother) about the driver's identity.
I wonder if their landowner contract only allows them to pursue the driver.

They also lied when they said you "should" tell them who was driving. The word "should" does not appear in the PoFA with regards to naming the driver. You should complain to the BPA about the use of that word.

You should complain again to the services manager. These places are supposed to be a place of safety where drivers can rest for as long as they need in order to drive safely.

Have you complained to your MP yet about this unregulated scam, and the fact that the scammers are encouraging people to drive when they are tired?

    Thanks for the responses.
The PCN was sent within the POFA period, I’ll prepare my appeal and post it here for review, how long do I have to appeal with POPLA?

I’ll raise with the landowner again as obviously this is poor on their part, will try my MP as a last resort but imagine they’re inundated currently.

The rejection letter with PoPLA code tells you that you have 28 days, but we know a PoPLA code will last 32 days. Just don't leave it to the last day.

Use all the relevant template points available to you from the third post of the NEWBIES. Post your draft here for checking before you submit it.

Do raise it with the landowner again.  Not so much 'raise' as 'bombard' if necessary.  Never expect to get satisfaction straight away with complaints, but DO expect to be successful ultimately.  You can make them listen to you by being very firm, polite, insistent and clear.

The signage is rarely up to scratch and the photos you've got are good - those signs are scrappy & woefully inadequate.  If anything the contrast of the large lettering with the tiny, crowded T&Cs suggests that the T&Cs aren't important at all.

What was the alleged reason for the PCN?  Overstay I guess .... but would be helpful to know for how long.  And if there's a compelling reason for not hitting the motorway straight away, make sure that comes across loud & clear in the landowner complaint.
