exchange of contracts and moving in (completion). Usually there is a week to 2 weeks break between those. BUT if your vendor is poorly (likely to pass away) between those dates then it will be long process as probate will be involved. So if you exchange and complete same day you know that you are safe2

I am pleased to say offer been accepted and I have spent all afternoon sorting the surveryors and solicitor and trying to get mortgage appointment to get the mortgage in. Survey fees are paid just the legal fees to pay and that’s it hopefully.Mortgage free wannabe

Right agent has the house on as under offer but other houses on that site have stc . Why is mine like this.
When I sold my house, it was listed as 'Under Offer' until the purchaser got their mortgage offer on it, and then it changed to 'SSTC'.0
