Viewing house today.

I’m viewing a house today. I have viewed a few in the past and didn’t like the layout of them. One of the houses has reduced their price by 15k however I won’t be offering again as I sat and thought I don’t like the long skinny sitting rooms. I prefer square sort of rooms. Anyways been searching for a while and there’s a few with the long skinny rooms which I don’t like.
Then a property came onto the market on Friday. I have my dip and I can afford it but if I get some money knocked off that would be great. I know the area and also the layout of the home as I lived I. Similar one for 28 years. Decor doesn’t need much doing to it.
I am scared to post link just in case I do get it and people come break in.

I’m not sure why posting the link increases the chance of a break in, but definitely best not to if it gives you any concern. You were posting that at 3AM,so I guess you’re quite excited about the possibility of buying the property. Good luck, and I hope it goes well.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

It sounds as if you haven't viewed many houses yet.
Bear in mind that those of us who view maybe 20, 30, or more properties before deciding, do that for a reason. Many of them look good on the internet or have a good layout, but there are often disappointments, some of them beyond the house itself. It's good you know the area.
The disappointments are still useful though, as they provide benchmarks for future viewings. Eventually a house that has a great layout, isn't next door to a pub, at the bottom of a north-facing slope and with a kleptomaniac neighbour will come along!0 -

That's potentially far more serious than many people realise, possibly causing cancer. Please do go and see your GP. He/she can prescribe meds to reduce the stomach acid.

It’s the foods I’m eating I think is causing acid.
I have my head screwed on and haven’t looked at houses for the sake of it. I’ve kept a look out on the market and found this one. It’s taken a while to find itMortgage free wannabe

Depends on where you are looking ,some people might have narrowed down their criteria so there are a lot less to consider. You don't need to view to know a floor plan does not work for you.1 -
Hope the house turns out the way you want it to be! All the best.0

Hi we viewed the house and we love it. I e are viewing again tommorow with people who couldn’t come today and to have another look. Also to ask what will be left so we can make plans to what to buy if we get the property.
We are thinking of making an offer. There’s not a lot of work that needs doing immediately but just designing it to our taste.
I think it was a deceased estate as there was many clothes still left in and pictures of the family. So hopefully they will want a quick sale.Mortgage free wannabe

Sounds very promising Sncjw! Good luck with second viewing. I'd suggest checking whether, if it is a deceased estate, probate has been granted yet (it can drag on a bit and could be a spanner in the works).0
