Are you using any anti virus app android

I was reading an article from tomsguide.com/uk which said for Android you do need a mobile AV program, like avast, bitdefender, etc. So anyone using one?

    Using bitdefender on android as part of my 10 selected devices , works fine always working in the background.

    I have Kaspersky total security but never bothered to install on any Android device .

    YOU DO NOT NEED ANY KIND OF 'SECURITY' ON A MOBILE PHONE !!
    It is a total scammy waste of time , money and processing power

    Same as JJ Egan i use Kaspersky antivirus but don't bovver on my samsung phone never had any antivirus on any of my phone since day one when mobile's came out back in the late 80' early 90s afaik you don't need it.

    There's possibly one instance where an AV might be useful ... if you've rooted your phone. But even then it's unlikely due to the way Android fundamentally works.

    Think i will scrap the idea to install av on my phone.
