  • Most banks prevent DoB years by banning many PINs that start with 19 or 20


    Never had a problem of that nature.

    I completely agree. Criminals only have three chances to input the correct PIN before the cards being blocked. So it is extremely unlikely they could guess your pin with three attempts. The most likelihood as you have mentioned, someone is watching while you input your PIN or using a secret surveillance camera.

    Another possibility is that it might be someone has told the person s/he trusts like, OH, partners, family members their PIN to use the card responsibly.

    When the person turns to be not trusted, and empty the account unexpectedly they try to make up a story that their cards have been compromised, cloned and be used by third parties without his/her knowledge. Typically they keep finding excuses for not reporting it to the police when challenged.
