Southend, there is no Brighton Airport.ย
The people of Shoreham, Lancing and Worthing (and probably most of the population of Brighton) will agree with you, but this sign tells a different story...

    ย
That sign appeared about two years ago , but the posts supporting it are much much older...

(and I'm sure you know, OPS infest the car park)

    ย  ย ;)

    But I digress.ย ย  :)

I do know, and I went there recently by car, and didn't get a parking charge because I didn't park in an OPS section!ย  ย Their machines were not working anyway - I had a look as a friend was parking there too - but I still found a small car park that wasn't infested by OPS there.

West Sussex (Shoreham/Worthing etc) isn't even the same County as Brighton.ย  Daft they pretend it's ''Brighton City Airport''!

    Hi, Coupon-mad.

I used the term 'Legal Representative's costs' as this is exactly as it appears on the Claim Form but I take your point and won't use this term when referring to it in my WS. Also Iย  take your point about not specifically addressing certain elements associated with their WS.

I have been working on a Draft WS of my own. I have uploaded this to Dropbox rather than take-up space here. Here is the link-

I have omitted information that may point to the a specific case and would welcome comments/suggestions.

Given the fact that I would be asking for the Claim be simply dismissed for specific reasons, should I include a request for financial recompense?

No, you looked at the wrong side of the claim form, that is not the false added cost.

    Hi, Coupon-mad.
Thereare no figures on the reverse of the Claim Form - just a bunch of notes headed with 'Please read these notes carefully - they will help you decide what to do next.'

The only sums I can see are on the front of the Claim Form and they read as follows;-

    Amount claimed ยฃ160.00
    Court fee ยฃ25.00
    Legal representative's costs ยฃ50.00
    Total amount ยฃ235.00

Their WS also contains a copy of the front of the Claim Form and there is no mention of any additional or other costs being claimed. Do you think they have learned a lesson or have I missed something?

It's that amount of ยฃ160.00 that is being queried. ยฃ60.00 of that is the false added cost.

I wasn't talking about the reverse.ย  ย You are looking at the right. The fake 'costs' add-on, is on the left.ย

    have I missed something?

Thanks, KeithP - that clarifies what Coupon-mad was talking about.
I have a feeling that there has been a change in the layout of the Claim Form as all 4 sums I mentioned appear in a single table on the bottom righthand side of the Claim Form.
