Current Accounts to Switch

Hi all,
I know normally on here people discuss current accounts to switch to, I am looking for examples of Current Accounts from banks that have never offered switch incentives to switch away from. I have a friend that is with Nationwide and wants to take advantage of the switch/refer a friend and I am keen to do so.

I do have other current accounts but they are tied up with various savings accounts so I don't want to swap one of my current accounts that I have now. I don't for example want to open a HSBC account to switch away from as they often have very good switch incentives I'd like to take advantage of later down the line.

I was considering either Monzo/Starling the app banks and switching away from them. Have they ever offered a switch deal?

I noticed Tesco have stopped accepting new current accounts which I was considering to use.

I think that Monzo had some joining offers way back. Starling has never had that.

At the speed of which they both gain new customers, I doubt they need or will ever offer direct cash incentives.

In addition to Starling and Monzo,
BoS, Metro and Santander - not sure if they ever had joining bonus. Tesco and Virgin Money never had one but you can't open Tesco now as they stopped accepting new customers.

If you already have an account say with Nationwide, then open another account with them which can serve as donor / switch from, you dont have to open an account with completely new bank for you.

Aside from YB/CB (now Virgin), Santander had the best switching offer ever, worth several hundreds if not thousands of pounds. My guess is they won't repeat that any time soon but I have no crystal ball.

I agree on BoS and Metro - I can't recall they had one yet.

Why not just open another account with your existing bank, and then use that as the account to switch.
