Well, none of it is to my taste but I don't have to live there. The pink (while again not to my taste)doesn't strike me as particularly lurid.

It sure does!  Has it just been empty for awhile or do you think they might have had a flood or something?

EA blurb doesn’t say much really.  But it’s quite cheap for the amount of land and the area

The EA blurb includes a 120" towpath, I think they're not saying much there!

I really like that, in a 'look mummy, I've made a Martian colony base out of a shoebox, foil and lolly sticks' sort of way.  It appeals to the inner child, and erstwhile appealed to the outer child who commissioned it.  The house itself is utterly and unashamedly daft and has about as much class as a gold plated Gucci toilet roll holder.  Shame to see it in that state, and to think it will never be restored as is.  Foreign investor in absentia responsible for present condition, perchance?
