Don't know  quite why it had to to be removed. It's not unknown  for some properties to be so derelict inside  they are unsafe for visitors so  you get no internal photos. They're sold as land plots for developers , often in auctions and as this one has, indications of planning permission already covered.
Whether asking price is right is another matter.

Mock Tudor detailing seemed to be the default style around here for the slightly upmarket new builds from the late 80s to the early 00s. Thank god that trend has died.
Luckily we seem to have avoided the smooth render trend on new builds in this area. Any render used is white painted roughcast that seems to age much better than the smooth stuff.
