This is one of the big houses on our road. We have a much smaller version but it is really interesting to see the original features of which we have none left. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/128923853?utm_content=v2-ealertspropertyimage&utm_medium=email&utm_source=emailupdates&utm_campaign=emailupdates7day&utm_term=buying&sc_id=27026970&onetime_FromEmail=true&cid=4652d6b3-7beb-424d-83ae-536c1ce62230&csg=8dcc0881cd8e0727a3497b2d7b35b0b0b0c5b3904a52a6c0576a040a715f751f#/?channel=RES_BUY7

Catching up with the thread, I remember my sister going there for a guide camp so definitely was for children as well as leaders. I also remember the fund raising to buy it so it’s a bit of a shame it is being sold off, though I can see how it would be a money pit!Dandie89 said:If I had know it might lead to an invite up here I might have stuck with the Rainbows https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/128370593 Pretty lavish living. Those two wall cupboards offer little in the way of practical & accessible storage in my opinion. But I suppose once you have bashed your head on one a couple of times, you'll either keep your distance, or get rid of it.joho said: Bashed head and hip with the odd positioning of wall cupboards and the cooker:
