That astroturf would have to go pronto. I realise that there are circumstances where it is appropriate, but personally I can't abide the stuff.

Yes, bedrooms are required to have means of escape in case of fire, and roof windows can be top hung.0 -

The steps may look nice but an accident waiting to happen? Quite steep and even if the tiles are supposed to be non-slip they aren't always that good.

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/96610015There is a step in the wall by the range cooker - It is either a case of pull the units forward and have a deeper worktop, or have the cooker sticking out. The latter would look odd.I have a similar sort of step in my kitchen. It hurt having to cut a 900mm wide worktop down, but it was the only way to have a 600mm surface where it was needed (could have cut a filler strip, but the pattern would never match).

Great floor plan here.Would hate to have the new owners heating bill. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/79851630#/?channel=RES_BUYCan you call it a bungalow the it has a ground room with windows and a radiator? I almost mistook it for a park home.

If external front carports were legal it could be an excellent house.
Pricing on both is insane though, especially the one in Thornton.0 -

.However, I think I would find the cooker with no extraction above, or anywhere else I can see, more of an offput.

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.2
