I have been a long term lurking on this thread but not ever shared but I saw this house whilst looking online and I could not help but think of this thread so hope I do it right.

It is a remote place, great if you have taken early retirement and don;t need to work. The tongue hotel was inviting when I was there, but an 80 mile round trip to get to half decent shops in Thurso would do it for me.5 -

It's wonderful though more expensive than I'd have expected for the area. I'd have no problem living there all year round. Would very much enjoy watching the winter storms roll in. Being on the NC500 route wouldn't put me off either. I'd rather enjoy watching the vintage cars/bikes/etc going past in the summer. In fact, I might even offer cream teas and home made Rowies 2 -

Oh no!! I think it's fabulous! The starry bedroom is to die for and I'd very much like the dinosaurs... 6 -
