It's an air conditioning unit heat exchanger. There would have been a blower on the wall inside at one time. If you zoom in and squint you can just about make out the Mitsubishi symbol next to the grille.1 -

Rightmove apparently being a discreet way to market the property. Oh wait, they've not actually shown a picture of the property. But there's a detailed floorplan... plus map and street view showing exactly where it is.

By the time one had expended enough for that, it would probably feel expensive for the setting.1 -

By the time you have spent another £200k fitting it out the total expenditure will be far more than the property is worth.
That said it could make a beautiful home but the location really does let it down.3
