Quite agree Ditzy_Mitzy, such a boring house.
But - there was a spot the dog opportunity.

I had to go back to find the dog! Didn't improve with a 2nd look either. Even the towels on the line are drab. Shame as it could be a nice house with a bit of life and injected. What is it with everyone thinking they have to go grey to sell a house. Not a big fan of those radiators either.

I find a lot of these posts rather upsetting. I'm not saying that people are wrong to post them, just that I am upset by them.

I can sympathise with the elderly folk, who just didn't want the disruption of workmen in the house. Plus, they came from a generation that was less spoilt, and they didn't feel the need to 'waste' money in order to keep up to date. As long as it worked, they kept it. Hence, the old pink suite, but the new white toilet. And, the listing above is of a £90k house. Maybe, the inhabitants were on the state pension, and they just didn't have the money for updating?

In all honesty, there are a lot of houses posted on here that I think are pretty fabulous and would buy in a heartbeat if I had the money.

My personal nightmare is the all-grey, crushed velvet sofa, lines-hoovered-into-carpets fashion that seems to be everywhere these days.  I can't bear going into my sister's house because it genuinely makes me feel unhappy and unsettled -  EVERYTHING is grey with the exception of some terrible mustard cushions and towels.

Would I change a whole bathroom if I could just change a toilet?  No chance.  I would rather spend spare money on holidays than making my house look like something out of an interiors magazine.

The worst ones are the million pound homes that look like sterile laboratories.  Give me a Liberace-themed extravaganza any day!

Really silly place to place chair (pic 2) and check out the teddies with hats...
Teddies are the band members, how can you be a rock star without a jauntily worn hat, did you not see their guitars?
Is Nelly Noo Noo the name of the band?
No she's the petulant lead singer.

The bears have to put such messages around the house to massage her ego and ensure she stays with the band rather than going with the solo deal. Although all the real fans know she is quite vacuous and talentless and the teddies have all the ability and drive the band forward to great critical acclaim.

But hey that's rock n'roll don'tcha just love it B)

Quite a nice house inside, the outside is umm, good for people finding it.

Would you keep this bathroom suite?

The house looks solid and in reasonable condition but the suspended ceilings and bathroom take me back.

Actually, I think the bathroom suite/tile combo is rather splendid in a cool, retro sort of way. I think I really would keep it.

This reminds me a bit of my new house. I think the tiles would be a little too much and I'd replace them whilst leaving the suite (given it works ok).

Not great but could be transformed with enough green plants, softer screening  and climbers etc to hide the brickwork.
