This caught my eye "You can now secure the sale with a reservation fee of £1,000 which gives you exclusive rights to purchase within a given timeframe.JuzaMum said:1 bed flat for sale in Columbia Road, Bournemouth BH10 - Zoopla
A nice flat if you are happy to walk round at an angle!
Paying this fee ensures that the seller takes their property off the market and reserves it exclusively for you, therefore eliminating gazumping and aborted costs"
How does that work with English law?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
I'm not sure what you mean. They seem to be suggesting if you pay £1K the seller is tied in to completing, as in Scotland, but not sure that is possible in England is it?GDB2222 said:

It isn't what normally happens in Scotland either. But just about anything is legally possible if it's what the parties want to do. Buyer would be an idiot to agree to this though.Dandie89 said:

Haven't seen a 'bijou' for ages! Actually, in London that garage would be quite handy for bicycles and motorbikes..FreeBear said:or just another way for an EA to say "deceptively spacious"..
