Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Not sure if I should be admitting this, but aside from the sterile looking overuse of brilliant white emulsion, I quite like that.Patr100 said:0 -

True the price is extortionate, but it's London, I've seen £1 million London properties on this thread (and it's predecessors) which are IMO worse deals than this one.ProDave said:NaughtiusMaximus said:

The exterior design is definitely marmite, but I do like the slightly decaying industrial aesthetic they're going for here which I think works very well alongside the Victorian viaduct. In terms of size, it's bigger than most 2 bedroom properties I've seen and it does also have a study plus a store which could potentially be use as a small second study. In most properties you'd have to requisition a bedroom for this.1 -
The listing does state it's leasehold.ProDave said:NaughtiusMaximus said:

Actually from accounts of those who have visited inside , you don't hear the trains when inside at all. Apparently you would never know you were under a railway.Soran101 said:Patr100 said:Converted railway arch for just under a million£:
The local area looks pretty grim, but nice house if you like tube trains rattling past your head all day.
It must have some impressive sound proofing built in.
Sitting outside is obviously a different matter.
Personally I could see it working as a commercial or studio space, but not as a domestic space.
The kids bedroom obviously indicates the latter. Very young kids may not notice the environment but once they get older..?0
