Now on the market,  this preserved 1960s house:
    No asking price given though.

Aside from the hideous modern(ish) bathroom I really like that.

The article says offers in the region of 400k.  I think it's fabulous!
Ah missed that. The kitchen looks particularly  well preserved -  overall that wood and orange colour generally  in the house exemplifies the look of the period.
Is that actually 60s though? It reminds my of my parents kitchen when I was growing up, they would have had it fitted around 1978-80.

Yes, the kitchen looks 80s to me - or even more recent (the inbuilt oven/hob/dishwasher look pretty new, as does the tap, and I doubt anybody has a 60s microwave...).

My mother's kitchen units looked like that - late 90s though I seem to remember thinking at the time that they didn't look particularly up-to-date. Obviously still available then though.

Big stain on carpet?  but that would be a blessing, who would want to keep that?

    This place ?

It does kinda make you wonder... Photoshop is easy enough to use and there really isn't any excuse for the poor cut'n'paste job.

There's a second picture of the same room and area where the floor looks a different colour/surface but not obviously edited?

For a sale, I don't think it matters, as a buyer would want to change the carpet anyway. However, for a rental, the pictures ought to show the true state of the carpet.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
