Also, for a 5-bed house, it looks like there's just one bloke living in it

-The price of that , the area,  and the mismatched , often bizarre taste, make me think it's a professional footballers place. They often seem  to have more money than taste.
Though what's on the telly(?) in pic 37 may also be a co-incidence , if feels like a place for "entertaining" with occasional guests.

Edit: and plenty of trip hazards.

While I don't agree with all of their decor choices I actually quite like that and good see that being a nice home decorated more to our tastes.

That is one ugly house.

It needs all of those tagged on extensions front and back taking off and a much more sympathetic builder to replace them and give the front and back an update.

No, it's an obvious plant by the agent to ensure the listing ends up here and read by millions. Probably not even the neighbour's cat either!

'Shed' apart, that kitchen limits potential buyers to those under a size 14 - any bigger and they wouldn't be able to turn round!

Like most of us, (who remember it at the time) the 1970s are often deplored for lack of taste. But isn't it interesting if it  were a perfectly preserved 1940s heavily patterned wallpapered cottage we might be saying how quaint and lovely. Is it the passing of time? The fact many of us lived in those styles in recent memory ? Were the 70s particularly  superficial?  They often were quite grim economically ( 3 day week etc)  . Will garish bathrooms ever come back in "vogue"?
