interesting the difference between the previous listing above and this one. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-prices/details/2867f223-7cb1-4ee5-a8ae-582313fd23d5

Why is that not more expensive?

Compared to this it doesn’t look particularly cheap?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
It's effectively attached to an enormous block of flats (check aerial view). The flats are in a converted nunnery, so probably very nice, but would somewhat dominate one side of the plot. There doesn't look to be much space between the buildings, either.
I suspect it's the reason for the lack of grounds, which one would expect with a house of such size and grandeur. Splendid place, though.

Round houses seems to be my finds at the moment, but gorgeous house whilst it's still on dry land

What would that be worth if the cliffs were made of something a lot harder than sand?

I see they say it's a traditional method of auction but also charge the non-refundable buyer's fee of £6K / 4.2% of the sale fee - is that normal for a trad auction?
0 -
Yes. Slightly less objectionable than the "modern method of auction" fees as both parties are in a contract when the hammer falls.
1 -
Sorry which one are you referring to?

And only 20 days from hammer drop to completion - Even at auction, you usually have a little longer than that.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
