I can see this would be completely divisive but I love it! https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-82815223.htmlIt's just so perfectly 70s and I can almost imagine being the people commissioning it!"The houses at Monkswood were commissioned by a group of executives and creatives from Yorkshire Television who moved to the leafy Kirskstall area of Leeds from London. They were completed as self-build projects with each house individually designed to suit the commissioning family’s needs."

Which appears to include a need to walk through the en suite to get into the master bedroom (at least the bog is separate).orangecrush said:I can see this would be completely divisive but I love it! https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-82815223.htmlIt's just so perfectly 70s and I can almost imagine being the people commissioning it!"The houses at Monkswood were commissioned by a group of executives and creatives from Yorkshire Television who moved to the leafy Kirskstall area of Leeds from London. Haha, hadn't noticed that! I wonder what the original owners were thinking when they made that choice? I think that's what I like about it, it's so weird, I like pondering what their motivations were for particular design and layout choices. That’s because it’s the only bathroom on That floor so if you are a guest and use it... then I hope The master bedroom has a door too... though jack and Jill bathrooms always scare me!davidmcn said:

Bet the neighbours will be pleased when this is done up2

Next door sold for £935k earlier this year. If whoever has had an offer accepted got it for anywhere near the £700k asking price they could have a good buy there. Although it clearly needs extensive work it shouldn't cost £235k to do a good renovation job on it.Oxon said:Bet the neighbours will be pleased when this is done up
It's sad to think that someone was living in there until recently though. It has clearly been a much loved house that has fallen into disrepair.1 -
Just a shame that the floor plan isn't for a mid terrace house...Oxon said:Bet the neighbours will be pleased when this is done up
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Can see that being turned into flats, esp with the kitchen sink in one of the bedrooms.Oxon said:Bet the neighbours will be pleased when this is done up0 -
https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-77448184.html So it will be so smelly with that damp. Also another case of caravan in the back garden. There's an access path to the back five doors down from the property
