I found out that if you make a viewing enquiry on RightMove and you tick the required box option , that your home isn't yet on the market that you are seen as a potential client (it was in the internal message forwarding system they had) so they then use the viewing as an opportunity to get you to sell your place with them. Otherwise if you haven't got an offer or a mortgage offer, you aren't really in a viable (to them) position to seriously view houses other than for curiosity. I did get to view a couple of places early but (being London) by the time you were in any position to make an offer later they were gone.Green_hopeful said:@Murphybear we live in a slightly nicer area and when we last put our house on the market we had 36 viewings and no actual offers. I think the majority of people just wanted to look around. In a previous house people admitted to coming round to have a look because it looked interesting from the outside and they regularly passed the house. I think i would rather people were honest but i guess the agents would get bored of them. Keeps the house tidy, having it on the market.0 -
If you're a fan of Arts and Crafts this is the best preserved interior which belonged to a close friend of William Morris and has been kept in wonderful condition exactly as it was then.

Art Deco property with no minimum price attached...However, you'd be expected to undertake some refurbishments/repairs - A survey has identified a minimum of £800K worth of works, and there could be more. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/crrzxgv5de1oAny language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Nah, too near a watercourse. That's going to add at least £40 per year to my home insurance.swingaloo said:Any takers for this one- 6 bedroom detached house for sale in Chauntry Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6

• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.1 -
Its not the only problem you may have if that house belongs to who I think it belongs to. Can you tell what it is yet!vacheron said:
