For a house that size to have only 5 bedrooms is a bit odd, as are the 4 bedrooms and a bathroom in the coach house. I think the price is low for these reasons (a house of that size, in those grounds, in Hertfordshire would surely be priced nearer £5M)

Love that. I always fancied retiring down there, well until my friend who lived down there died.

Yes an interesting 'time capsule' property where it would be a shame to erase elements such as the kitchen, but priced to suggest likely redevelopment possibilities, so it's innate charm will likely be lost after sale.

Very bachelor pad. It's all very well giving you a lift to get in them but popping to the loo from the kitchen could get a bit tedious.

I've visited that old operating theatre, albeit decades ago. I'm pleased to see it's still open as a lot of places like that have shut in the intervening years.
