We have taken to watching Homes under the Hammer to laugh at the grey contract carpet. Just watched one where they have complemented the grey carpet with grey laminate floor and grey floor to ceiling tiles in the bathroom. Oh please stop.4

When will people realise that grey is no longer in fashion.... The layout is rather poor, no family bathroom and only 2 reception rooms. Washbasins in bedrooms belong in 1950s guest housesGreen_hopeful said:Quite a lot going on here. I like the kitchen and the period bedroom furniture but I wonder about the football themed stairs. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/159288713?fbclid=IwY2xjawI-5_ZleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHZoavaP4BTuin-EUckB93HnuPlZurkSYblxjd5L6USpXbEx0oAIDvPqKkQ_aem_DM-vGd_B4KHwNirpZxqqKA#/?channel=RES_BUYIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales1 -

It is very odd. I was trying work out if it was two houses or a pair of semis joined together, but I think it’s just weird 😁lincroft1710 said:

The staircase wouldn’t put me off buying the house, but I would be saving up to change it 😂0 -
I think the bit above the garage is an extension. The bricks are different.horsewithnoname said:

I would actually say that the original house ended with the bay windows and the garage/above the garage has been added. The toilet would have been outside and the passageway would have been through to the back garden. I suspect it was a 3 bed with bed 3 going into the en-suite.Green_hopeful said:

Map SJ4187SE - B suggests that the garage was there when the house was built (Late 1960s ?). Bricks and mortar joints all look to be of a similar age. I suspect it has been remodeled internally at some point and a bedroom converted in to an en-suite bathroom. The size of the respective bathroom windows & drain pipes ad weight to the supposition.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

picture 19 I had that carpet in my lounge when I moved in here. Not my taste 😂0 -
This one is great but i think the bath in the bedroom wins the most uncomfortable bath competition. Love the wine racks as a room divider. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/150761597?fbclid=IwY2xjawJCpYZleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHc76uTrxH6i7NzHmiLGix8fNA3S1Rr_k_aFvjQVsJBd7gK7HB87L5Se0iQ_aem_zCPN6pui1CAHcByapabaYw#/?channel=RES_BUY5
