Interesting floor plan! There seems to be a balcony floating off the kitchen.Green_hopeful said:This one tickled me. I love the fireplace in the sitting room. If that’s slightly beyond your budget, this one has come up yet again. I’m not sure anyone’s ever lived in it, although it’s been on and off the market for years:strawb_shortcake said:

£310k to live in what looks like a glorified shed in someone's garden, I think I'll pass. The plug sockets alone are awful in my opinion.Bonniepurple said:

It does appear to have been sold in 2019 for £335k. My Husband would be quite happy to live in Cam but there are much better homes for a similar price in that areaMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

I think the sale in 2019 is for the original house and garden. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-prices/details/england-79825664-10753519?s=18bde8ce797c6e92c92d491ba4f4db88b910378918138c8fdde425e52a24f024#/strawb_shortcake said:

Oddly, I quite like that....

The art on the walls in this place made me flinch especially the brown maelstrom in the formal dining room but the red chap self-portrait in the sitting room wasn't much better.

Then I was rather taken by this especially as the current lease expires in 2029.
Savills Property Auctions | The Upper Forge Building, Coalbrookdale, Telford, TF8 7DT
Then there's always this which has off-street parking and a horse box thrown in, with a bit of ingenuity it could be charming.

The "red chap" is actually a woman, usually a self portrait, by painter Shani Rhys James, apparently popular but IMO all her portraits lookgoldfinches said:The art on the walls in this place made me flinch especially the brown maelstrom in the formal dining room but the red chap in the sitting room wasn't much better.

Thanks for that. I hadn't realised it was a self-portrait mostly because I took one look and recoiled but don't think I'd have guessed anyway as the artist's viewpoint is so direct.Patr100 said:
