Ah caught out by the old double-oven. Rookie mistake. 

I realise I rarely say much nice about a house, but £3m and a horrendous lack of internal decor sense. Why don't these developers employ someone with (better/my) taste? Still, good location.

This would have been one large mansion similar to the size of the current building, Cockfosters Road had loads of them.

One by one they were being sold to developers who demolished them and put up these apartments.
