Yep, wouldn't be allowed in renovations either , also the hypocrisy of "carbon footprint minimised"ProDave said:
There is no way those stairs comply with building regulations. I would be asking the vendor embarasing questions about how that passed building regs and what other things they may have "got away" with.Cairnpapple said:
oh I'm conflicted by this one! I like the overall look of the building but I'm horrified by the death stairs and obviously the astroturf.in_my_wellies said:
ETA I cross posted with other stair-haters! Never mind small children, I haven't been brilliant at stairs since I got varifocals, I'd break both my legs within a week.
yet with what looks like "low maintenance garden" fake grass that has an awful environmental impact as well as looking ugly, UGH!3 -
And not trying hard enough on the build. Only an EPC B, if you are doing it right on a new build like that I would expect an EPC A.Patr100 said:

Ha ha, no, but I've never seen one just in metres before, and one would have to convert it to feet to understand it (unless you were brought up in metres, such as in France).BikingBud said:

That's the first time I've seen a floorplan just in meters. How would anyone be able to figure out the real size?RHemmings said:
My eyebrows went up a bit when I saw this as I'm having discussions with my son. I offered to buy him a house, but he wants one in London. Probably not going to work out. But, 'shoebox' caught my eye.joho said:Minimalist shoebox anyone?
High Street, London NW10, 3 bedroom terraced house for sale - 67365990 | PrimeLocation
Following your link, I couldn't see the property in the description, but found a list of properties. Including this one:
https://www.primelocation.com/for-sale/details/65169658
Still above what I can justify buying, and way more expensive than my entire house here in Leicester. But, just curious about its layout. Surely there's no way that Bedroom 2 is those dimensions. Even if the floorplan is 'not to scale'.
Do you still pay for your shopping using florins and farthings?0 -

Personally I think this slightly lacks kerb appeal. Sold, however.

A handy 'hobbit hole door' in one of the rooms, a conservatory which isn't best I've ever seen, and a cosy coloured bathroom suite
