I was thinking 'pantry'.FreeBear said:
Block up the door entirely and make the space into a cupboard accessible from the lounge. Get to squeeze a proper unit in to that corner and more space for wall units.RHemmings said:
I had to study the floorplan a bit to work out what you meant. But, I see it now. If that was my home I think I'd remove that door altogether and minimise the door jamb.lea_uk said:Not a very well designed kitchen, the cupboard door won't fully open

It's basically under stairs storage .Just needs to replace the door with a sliding concertina type or similar.FreeBear said:

That's what i did in my previous house and I had another slider door in the lounge for bigger access.
Though either could be blocked up depending on use.

2 bedroom semi-detached house for sale in Whiting Avenue, Toton, NG9 (rightmove.co.uk)
It's now had a whitewash - on the outside at least. Same link.Never take a stranger's advice. Never let a friend fool you twice.6 -
A flat in a grade 2 listed castle. Beautiful flat, but the service charges are a bit eye watering for Swansea. This place used to be a hall of residence for the students at the University there. It was an amazing place to study with the beautiful park next door, though the boys got the castle, the girls got the 60's tower blocks behind. 2 bed flat for sale in Mill Lane, Blackpill, Swansea SA3, £215,000 - Zoopla5

My father had fond memories. He was a bit disappointed when he returned in the 70s and found that his father's shop had been knocked down for a public toilet. (I may have details confused, I think it was the shop not the house.)robatwork said:

My father was born on Canvey Island, though I've never been there.
I guess your father told you you're not.
Although Dr Feelgood did hail from there who were rather good.
That really is nice. But, the service charge plus council tax is probably approximately what I'm paying for full rent and council tax for my current 3 bed semi.Miri_J said:A flat in a grade 2 listed castle. A good example of why there is no money to be made refurbishing some properties.Owain_Moneysaver said:a full refurbishment and internally is show home material.

It looks worse on Street View. I'm pretty sure I have the right house, but the colour of the shed and fence is different. And, it doesn't look good. How much margin can there be on an asking price of £105,000 to do all that refurbishment?Owain_Moneysaver said:a full refurbishment and internally is show home material.
