Went to the gym and did food shop, mainly for big family meal tomorrow with parents/ grandparents ( I only cook once a year lol) but will have loads of left overs to use for this week for good, plus I batch cooked last week so hit loads in freezer to use.
Otherwise not doing much today, admin for work and knitting
Hope your family meal goes well x0 -
Good luck with your shopping, Happy Monday
May the force be with you!
It's not an NSD for me today - I've got an allotment, and today is the day they change over the site keys for the year and we pay a small fee to get the new key. That should be it though.
Thanks Cathybird. My dad used to have an allotment, it was great, a real community. I miss getting all his fresh produce, means I have to buy it now!0 -

Yesterday was my first NSD for Feb, so 1/15. Think today might not be as need to pick up a few bits from the supermarket. Will check back tonight with an update.
Well done Optimistic Saver:T:T

Thanks Happy Monday - yes it's really good for the mind growing fruit and veg - not sure why, getting out in the fresh air and sunshine I guess, but also it feels quite nourishing, even if it is non-stop - there's always some part of the plot which is out of control re weeds or whatever. It's great though. I've had it a long time, 15 years now. Very fond of it0 -
Hello, was nearly de-railed from the February NSD challenge on the first day by DH. Who was itching to spend some money yesterday after a month of being super frugal. I managed to stand firm but found myself trying to think which pot I could take the money from. Previously I would have just used the cc rather than say we can't afford it. So had a bit of sulking but managed to maintain the NSD for unplanned spending. 😀Pay your debts off by Xmas 22 #TBC - £0/15k

The payday excitement hasn't served us well so far :wall:
Still on 0, although in my defense, I haven't spent anything, but my husband has, both non essential spends yesterday and today. (I was a good wife and only nagged a tiny bit)
He's aware of our target, so I'm going to crack down extra hard from now on. (I'm a wonderful spouse really, I promise...)
